Take a look at the Features section of the site or for more information about dance in your area, try the Big Dance hub organisation in your area.

Big Dance 2012 was the UK’s biggest ever celebration of dance.

Over 3,500 events took place all sorts of locations – lidos, shopping centres, parks, palaces, schools, high streets and squares – in all dance styles, as part of the London 2012 Festival, which was the culmination of the Cultural Olympiad. The story of 2012 and Big Dance in 2006, 2008 and 2010 are all captured at www.bigdancelegacy.com.

Big Dance is led by the Mayor of London and Foundation for Community Dance in partnership with a network of Big Dance Hubs.

Big Dance was initiated and led by the Mayor of London in 2006 and has taken previously taken place in 2008, 2010 and 2012.
